“The room was clean, and I mean surgical clean. I am one of those crazy people that check a room with a flashlight, and I couldn't find a speck of dust or a water spot in the bathroom. “We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. “The description on Expedia didn't do it justice. There was a very nice midsize refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they tried to charge me an extra 10% fee over the price I paid Expedia when I checked in. The clerk said she would ask about taking it off and they did not pursue it so far. The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. They made up the room without me asking!
