October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well. “No. 1 Apartments are the gold standard in St. Andrews. I’d previously stayed in apartments for a larger group, but this was my first stay in an apartment for 1-2 occupants. I loved the room—it was roomy with plenty of space for suitcases, to put my clothes away, etc. Although there was no kitchen, there are enough takeaway breakfast places in the vicinity that I didn’t mind and the Nespresso machine was a plus.”

“The apt was well situated for comfort and easy access to all of St Andrew’s. With 2 locations in town they have a lot of options for single and group travel. I really liked the premium feel to the apartments and was well taken care of in communication with their staff when I had questions during and the option to leave my. “The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn. Light/ torch……

“The quayside area of Dundee where the Apex hotel sits is lovely. You can walk or cycle for miles alongside the river and it's clean. The town centre though is not so great. It's quite run down and there are lots of empty shops. The staff in the hotel were lovely and helpful. The rooms are cleaned and a good size. We had one facing the quay which meant we could watch the people doing watersports. The restaurant was clean and the staff were attentive but the food was average. Not terrible but……
