“My husband, parents, our 2 pups and I, all stayed in this comfortably quaint home just for one night. We were on our way back to Ohio from Oak Island, NC, and it was a lovely middle point to rest for the night. Laura was very accommodating to allow us to bring our 2 pups who travel with us everywhere. She was also kind to let us check-in a little early as we made good time. The home is set in a gorgeous setting on a private road a few miles from 77. We went to Wytheville, about 20 minutes away,……

“Cozy feeling to the cabin..beautiful, peaceful setting on the lake. We saw deer walking through the yard! So amazing! Will definitely return for another stay. We hosted a family cookout for about 12 people, and one family member requested information and interest about property for his own famiky getaway. The hist was always prompt about answering all questions we had. Really enjoyed our stay”

“Our dogs love the super thick grass in the nice yard. (Pix attached). It is great to throw the ball and burn off some energy after a long day of driving. The home and property are well cared for and well-equipped. The location is highway close for convenience, but you would never know it looking out over the meadow and mountains, from the yard, and hearing only the red-winged blackbirds singing to each other. ”

“My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.”
