“It was a beautiful old hotel in town (New Bedford). That gave it a lot of character integrated with the room being updated nicely with modern conveniences. I was on the 5th floor and had a great view of the city and partially of the harbor. My daughter and her husband-to-be live a couple blocks away. Because they have off street parking, I left my car there and they picked me up during my stay for Mother’s Day weekend. That was an inconvenience to work around. “They’re doing some renovations. When you first walk in it’s got a very early 2000s feel with the bright red couches, patterned carpet, and overall color choices. To me it was one of the things I actually really enjoyed about the hotel. It had a cozy feel and the staff are very friendly. I loved the woman who checked us in, she was funny.
