“Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. “My children and I recently spent two wonderful nights at Spean Lodge. Paul is the most gracious host - he made us feel at home. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable and we were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning. For supper, there’s a lovely restaurant by the train station. We also loved the beautiful woodland path to the Commando Memorial. Spean Bridge is a lovely place and a short drive to everything you want to see in the area - don’t hesitate to book. “We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep. The bathroom is amazing. If we drive up to Scotland we will again considering stopping over maybe for an extra night to visit also the……
