“This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first……

“We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. It’s near all the major tourist stops (I highly recommend every stop in the Historic Triangle). Sadly the pool was not holding water well so it was unable to be used by our youngest kids - it’s not really large enough for the whole family and seemed to have been out of commission for a bit. “Loud street noise from top floor, courtyard facing room, balcony was dirty, no active exhaust in bathroom, housekeeping was extremely polite but only half cleaned. ”

“The property was as pictured. There was enough room for all of us. The dock, kayaks and the paddle board were fun. We fished off the dock.We came from Massachusetts to visit Busch Gardens and Water Country. The property had plenty to do if you have a down day or just want to relax, read play games. The yard is a good size too.”
