“This was just what we needed for our holiday trip. The water views were great, saw various water birds including geese and a heron that posed for us out back. The place was clean and had all of the amenities of home. We are considering making this a holiday tradition!”

“The house is lovely and the view of the river is gorgeous - especially the sunsets. There are huge windows looking out into the the trees and the river. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has everything you would need - even popover pans! The owners were wonderful: when the kitchen faucet broke, they fixed it immediately.The private beach is lovely too - although we couldn't really use it that much given it was December. It would be great to come back in the summer.”

“My husband and I booked this property for a cozy winter weekend away. This is one of those properties that ends up being BETTER in person than the listing indicated. We didn't even leave the house the entire weekend. The kitchen was so well stocked that we just cooked our meals. The hot tub was so clean, relaxing and had he BEST view of the river. “This three-story Federal-style home has a delightful view of the York River. The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. The rooms are generously spacious, with a deck on both the first and second floors. The entire third floor is one huge bedroom, with two double beds. The second floor has two bedrooms as well as laundry facilities, and EVERY bedroom has its own full bath! We were astonished at how big this……

“The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice. House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed except the larger room that had 2 queen beds and a crib. Each room had a house size closet with a few hangers. There is a washer and dryer upstairs in the hallway. Location: the house is right off and busy bypass. The noise was not too bad. The house sits on a lot with another smaller house that I believe is……
