“This is the perfect little space for two people, and actually quite roomy for a studio. We didn't cook, so I can't speak to how well stocked the kitchen was, but it did have a Keurig and a couple mugs.I loved this quiet location in Meiner's Oaks. It's just 2-3 blocks from a bunch of restaurants, including The Farmer and The Cook, where we ate several meals.This unit is attached to an existing home and shares the driveway. It requires a step down through the front door, and there's a narrow ramp……

“My husband and I stayed to visit friends in the area. This was a terrific location, and very quiet, private spot. Beautiful oak trees and hot tub really contributed to the relaxing feel. Great host; very communicative! I would highly recommend this property for a weekend (or longer) getaway!”

“We had a most enjoyable time staying in Lake of the Woods with our accommodative host. The large and spacious rooms had everything we needed and warm, the bed is comfortable. Our host even lent us some snow sleds we could take up to Nordic Base and go sledding. We arrived a little late and we weren’t able to buy groceries, however our host sold us some organic eggs he raises. I will return again for a longer stay”

“This was a fantastic space for the two of us, with an ample deck. It was a bit chilly, so we didn't really spend much time out on the patio, and we were only here for a short stay while visiting friends in Glendale. The only thing to be aware of with this property is the windows: they have regular plastic blinds. Great for privacy, but they're not adequate for blocking out sunlight in the mornings. So if you're looking to sleep in at all, your sleep might be disrupted by the morning light……
