“Gorgeous view of WV mountains! Great hot tub, game and dvd selection! Everything you need in and more in the kitchen! Don’t be alarmed by the natural gas smell. We were unfamiliar with how natural gas smelled when we first arrived, but Dustin was prompt to explain. Wonderful stay if you want to disconnect from the busy-ness of life!”

“We enjoyed this cabin very much. Secluded and away from the traffic and noise of life is what we were looking for and definitely found it in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Hopefully it stays this way and we will definitely be back many times in the future. Very clean, warm, and loved the kitchen was stocked. I did forget a couple spices but found some in the cabinet. That was a nice surprise. Loved there were robes available also. Beautiful scenic views. We are already talking about reserving……

“We had an amazing time here. We went to the wildlife center and the asylum around the area and enjoyed a relaxing evening. Perfect ppace for a little getaway especially if you like the rural area to escape from people. ”

“Start with the not positive, the house is located in a valley so winter weather made the roads not so great. The freezer could have been cleaner and lack of local stations made following weather and watching football games tough. The internet is not great.... Other than that, our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our needs, warm, loved being on the river, and comfy couches. The little touches took it over the top. “My friends and I spent a week at the Blackberry Cottage in April 2025. The cabin is super comfortable and located to so many great WV destinations. This is the second time we stayed at this particular cabin. Just like the previous time, the cabin was spotless when we arrived and exactly as advertised. The property manager is amazing. When the internet connection dropped, we contacted her and she called within minutes with a solution. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be coming back.”
