There's an amazing new playground and walking area behind the first building and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is pretty deep everywhere, but a fairly good temperature and very clean and nice. Our two kids enjoyed it, but only because one can swim and the other still has water wings. “Erstaunlich günstiges Hotel mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, dafür gibt es sogar ein Hallenbad gegen 5 Euro Zuzahlung. Wer eine Basis für Ausflüge im Bayerischen Wald sucht, ist hier richtig. Ist halt kein Boutique-Hotel oder so, aber praktisch. “Wir waren das erste Mal bei den Schmalhofers 😃, die Anzahl der Stammgäste lässt schon allein für sich sprechen. Wir sind hier in eine große Familie aufgenommen worden.
