“Everything was beyond expectations. The neighborhood was quiet. The stars were visible and a nice deck to enjoy the experience. Big back yard for the dogs to explore. The kitchen was large and well stocked. One of the best features was large windows throughout the house so you could take in stunning sunsets.We went to the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and it was a short drive away.The house is very classy and it has alot of interesting facts about its history.We would come back. “Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”

“We had a wonderful stay here during our spring break. Our family had plenty of space and we were quite comfortable. The house has one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever experienced at a rental while also having all of the amenities we needed to cook a few meals. Can’t wait to come again!”

“GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. “My mid-October stay at Little Thumb was everything I hoped for and more: plenty of peace and quiet, an immaculate and comfortable place to stay, and beautiful surroundings in which to birdwatch from the dock, read, and take long walks. I especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, comfy queen bed, and big gas heating stove in the living room that kept me toasty, even temps dipped into the 40s. And Natalie certainly deserves her rating as a top host!”
