“Was good ”

“We were looking for places to stay up near Cascade and Devils head for the weekend and stumbled across this gem. This place was amazing! About a 30 minute drive to Cascade and 50 minute drive to Devils head, making both perfectly manageable. Easy close access to grocery stores as well. The property itself had everything you could ask for in a getaway, cute stream running through, fireplace, charcoal grill, trails and more! Inside the house there was plenty of beds to sleep in, great VHS movie……

“Friends gathered and all 4 of us enjoyed our time at this rental for a weekend. Clean, spacious, comfortable. There was only one slight down side, all conversation and the one movie we watched that weekend were disrupted by the sound of the furnace running. Had it not been cold outside, perhaps we wouldn't have noticed. We adapted and smiled whenever the heat would turn on. All else was a pleasure. ”

“Our party of three had a great experience at this property. Plenty of room, good layout and great location. Everything was well-stocked, clean and the owner communicated well. ( The basement was great - spent way more time with the video games, darts, and ping pong than planned!) Only downsides are little things others have mentioned - maybe a little better upkeep outside, especially the screened in porch. Shower pressure isn’t quite as good when both are running at the same time but didn’t……
