“We really weren't very happy with the lodgings. We are never the people that complain but I really don't think this place was near as nice as some of the places we have stayed in the past. There were several issues, we had......The couches had not been swept or wiped down and had crumbs or something all over them. very few pillows to sleep on, 3 for both of us. exposed electrical outlet that shocked my husband slightly when he touched it. adjoining door for the upstairs that we were not……

“It is your home away from home. The area is so peaceful, the views are stunning, and we had deer in the yard every night. Your within reasonable distance to local attractions. Even though there is no Wi-Fi access and we used our Hotspot on our phones, it was worth it. The tranquility, the views, the family time we spent together playing games made it special.”

“Fantastic view, very quiet and secluded. Saw deer and turkeys! If you stay in the winter, make sure you have good tires and 4WD or AWD, as the road up can get dicey. House itself is huge, clean, warm with lots of windows and a huge porch. Would definitely recommend staying there with your family. ”

“We rented this house as it was large and near the venue of a wedding we were attending in Speerfish. The house is big and clean and beautiful. It feels very luxurious but not so much you feel like your kids can’t touch anything. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are well thought out and very enjoyable. Would love to stay here again. Close to all the Black Hills attractions but feels like your own personal cabin.”
