“I like to stay at least once at the Beach House when I visit Panama to be able to walk and bike around Amador. I usually stay there about once a year. This year I had issues with the bathroom and asked for it to be serviced. While they sent someone, they were ill prepared to fix the toilet. They ended up changing me to another room but that bathroom also was having drainage problems. I think the hotel bathrooms need to be serviced and the staff needs quality tools to fix the problems that arise.……

“Overall, it's a good choice. Good location. Very clean. Pretty quiet. Reception/lobby staff were friendly and helpful. Two things I rated less...the wait staff for the breakfast bar was a little less than optimal. (Dinner staff was great.) Bathroom -- Shower water did not get more than lukewarm. Wall facing hotel room was only slightly frosted glass. “This place was amazing! On the edge of Casco Viejo, the apartment was conveniently located to everything in the Old Town area. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, & spacious - and we loved being able to wash & dry our clothes halfway through the week. We had two friends over who are from Panama & they indicated that we found a gem. We will definitely be staying there again!”

“My stay wasn’t four stars due to the lack of sleep, but I do not want to penalize the hotel for what was not hidden from me in the reviews. The hotel has a rooftop bar that was active until 2:30a Tuesday and Wednesday nights. They state that the room is 70% soundproof, though I suspect it to be less. I am a heavy sleeper and gambled that it would be quiet in the beginning of the week and because I have the ability to fall asleep with noise. Perhaps I may have been able to, but I suspect there……
