“Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. ”

“This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all. Can't wait to return and……

“Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route.There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost. Its pretty straight forward. Hideo picked us up from the buss station near his house. He and his wife made us delicious dinner and breakfast. Beautiful accommodations with alot of……

"I do not recommend to stay in this hotel if...
1). you cannot speak basic Japanese. The staff cannot speak basic English and they were not even trying to use any translator device to communicate with foreign guests. I had to use limited Japanese to communicate with the staff.
2). you cannot tolerate heat nor noise. I checked in 2 days ago. This is already April which is spring season, but the hotel still had not offered cool function of air conditioning. How stubborn the hotel management is. So I was forced to open the window and use the electric fan (when the staff handed me the fan, they did not even wipe off the dust, so it was very dirty.) By the way, as I had to open the window at night, I was annoyed by the noise of the terrible local motorbike gangs.
Yet the location of this hotel is superb ~ opposite to the JR station and also a little shopping mall."
