“My extended family of 10 stay for the week. With 5 active kids ages 9-12 there was plenty of kayaks, tubes, and canoes for them to use. The river is calm in front of the house. Yes the hill to the water is steep but it wasn’t an issue for any of us. The porch rocking chairs on the screened porch was wonderful for drinking coffee and watching the river every morning. There’s a stack of firewood for the fire pit which is nice of the host to supply along with sticks (in the kitchen) for roasting……

“We absolutely adored our stay! The Lakota Cabin is cozy, beautifully maintained, and exactly as advertised. The hosts were incredibly responsive and stayed in touch throughout our visit. The location strikes a perfect balance—peacefully remote yet still within 20 minutes of some great little places to eat. The amenities were top-notch, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin was immaculately clean, and every detail felt thoughtfully prepared. We would absolutely stay again!”

“This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! ”

“Enjoyed the location, spaciousness, and amenities close by. House is comfortable and great for families. There are 2 stairs, if you are traveling with toddlers. A hot outdoor jacuzzi and fire pit made it really fun. ”

“Very nice. Well equipped. Family trip ranged from 1 to adults. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Kitchen had everything things you need. House included toiletries and almost all the items that was needed. All you have to pack is clothes. Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay at your home! Will come again.”
