“Property was fine, though the general area is a depressed rust-belt landscape. On the plus side, Oakmont is just 7-8 minutes away. My biggest gripe is the cost of the hotel -- almost $300. I could have stayed in downtown Pittsburgh for $100 less. Why didn't I? Visiting family in nearby New Kensington, 10 minutes away. That town has only one hotel -- and it's been raided many a time because of drugs and prostitution.”

“The reviews that I read in advance stated that the motel was older and well maintained. I found this to be an extremely accurate description and the reason I chose to stay there. I’ve stayed at much newer motels/hotels that were not nearly as well maintained. The staff have truly done an excellent job of making certain that the rooms are clean and well prepared for your stay. I would definitely stay at the motel again when returning to the Pittsburgh area.”

“The employees were pleasant, kind, and helpful. The physical facility, however, is in dire need of repair. The locks on the doors (in my original room) were non-operational. The lights (in my second room) flickered when the outside door was closed. I also found that the hall light became brighter when the door was closed. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken off the wall (there was a retractable clothesline in the bathtub) and the wall above the bathtub was in need of attention. The……
