“The house was very clean. Great fishing off the pier, steps away from the door. Nice elevated patio. Quiet. Easy to access. Short trip to Hastings, which is a pleasant step back in time. Several good restaurants downtown. Plenty of shopping. Walmart close for supplies. Will return.”

“Our daughter recently moved up to Michigan and due to her work schedule, she couldn't come home for Christmas. Therefore, we decided to bring Christmas to her. Although I was apprehensive at first about doing this. I found this cottage where someone had mentioned that it was decorated for Christmas and it was very clean. Two things that I was looking for. It did not disappoint. The home was clean, decorated for Christmas, cozy and the kitchen was wonderful for preparing our holiday meal. I……

“Very adorable and clean home with a beautiful view of the lake. The photos online don’t do it justice. HUGE back deck with multiple seating options. Great pier for fishing. A great surprise that wasn’t in the photos is a floating deck. It even has built-in seats and a table! We filled up a cooler and swam out. You may reconsider bringing your own boat if you want to use this lake. There is a very small access point but it’s not really intended for the public. We were unable to back our boat……

“COTTAGE ON THE LAKE- I was so disappointed, first it was very dusty, ants on the kitchen counters, upstairs queen bed sheets were nubby and unable to sleep on them, no bath soap in shower, nowhere at all for clothes or to hang clothes plus nowhere in bathroom to hang our towels. I have never been so disappointed and felt I was charged way to much for what we got. Let me add there was no remote for tv downstairs and couldn’t get the upstairs tv to work and sent a message but no response to my……
