“Excellent service at front desk, easy check in and check out, nice black out shades in the room, breakfast was wayyyy too salty despite the fact that it was free, overall great location. Thank you ”

“Hotel was a 15min walk from Univ of Pitt, which was the reason for our visit. Hotel was solid: comfortable, clean. Room climate was a little damp. Parking was pretty expensive though, so that was a big drawback. Also would've been nice for the breakfast buffet to have scrambled eggs or omelettes, but they only had hard boiled. Overall a good stay.”

“Pros: Spacious rooms, extensive ammenities and staff replied promptly to our inquiries (at first). Cons: “queen” sofa bed just a big sofa, had pee smell on one side; shower gel rack positioned way too high for shorter adults or children to reach; floors and carpet were kinda dirty. But honestly the cons weren’t dealbreakers cause good price. We came back from dinner around 9:30PM, noticed the room below partying loudly (despite signs for quiet time from 10PM-7AM everywhere), which continued past……

“The beautiful historic home is located next to a park, and is within walking distance to Acrisure Stadium where we attended a concert. Walking back to the inn at night as a female felt slightly intimidating. There were no issues encountered during the walk. The accommodations differ from standard hotels, as there is no elevator, ice machine, or mini fridge. Parking on the street is free and was not problematic in finding a parking spot. Overall, it is a location worth visiting again.”

“We only stayed 1 night for a Steelers game. But let me tell you, this place felt like home, it was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be returning ”

“I loved staying at the Travelers Rest! The bed was very comfortable and quiet. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I loved interacting with them and the other guests in the living room area. The kitchen is equipped with coffee/tea, muffins, yogurt, eggs, fruit, etc. We stayed at a corporate hotel the night before which was double the price we paid at the TR and it wasn’t worth it although they were very nice too. No continental breakfast, and the bed was not as comfortable as the TR……
