“I've been told by Expedia that I'm booking a hotel. What I got was a small room with no private bath and bunk beds. Thankfully I didn't have to share the room and the place was relatively clean. A crazy old lady was screaming from the balcony at me when I came back from dinner but.. everything else was ok. For one night :) ”

“We checked in late, and the restaurant was not open. We had to leave early in the morning to the airport, before the breakfast was open, and the staff was very nice and prepared a breakfast for us to go. Very sweet.”

“absolute highlight of this Hotel is the truly spectacular architecture. It was once a private bank. Not sure of the exact vintage but late 19th century art nouveau. One of the most impressive and beautiful buildings I’ve ever stayed in. The incredible bronze safe in the lobby is worth the price of admission alone. Location is perfect. A minute’s walk from the old town. I can’t remember much about my room but I’m sure it was nice!”

“Everything was great, very close to the old town, area without noise, and the staff very friendly. The room was great and spacious taking also into consideration our teens needs. My only recommendation is related to the breakfast served. Croissants could be fresh and not the ones in plastic bag with preservatives, the cereals could be in nice jars and not in the supermarket packaging, the cheese, ham and vegetables could be sliced better. This would improve the aesthetic of the buffet.”

“The room was freezing, they claimed there is central heating. In fact there was only an air-conditioner with the maximum temperature output at 32 degrees Celsius which the weather reported between 3c to 7c even during daytime. There was only a thin blanket provided. Some of the lighting were not working too. The environment was also very dirty, cockroaches ruining around the apartment. And inside the main entrance as well. Please take this offer out from your list. Absolutely unsatisfied which……

Staff were very helpful, location is central to the old town Breakfast was so so, some fresh cut fruit would be nice (some apples and bananas on the side but that was about all). I was at the front so it was quite loud as it faced one of the main streets in the old town but i knew where i was staying so i knew it was likely to not be the quietest ”
