“Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked……

“We spent one night there. The pub is a lovely old pub, slightly quirky. Our room was quite small but perfectly adequate for one night. My main concern being tall wad hitting my head on the beam. The food wad god, service very good and friendly. Lovely breakfast. The garden is lovely too with lots of areas in which to sit. For a Thursday night t was buzzing.”

“This hotel was a real find. Very friendly staff, our room was very comfortable with lovely toiletries and bathroom extras in a bag. We were taken to our room by a very nice man who left fresh milk and home baked cookies. Our meal was excellent and the breakfast freshly cooked, and quite a lot of choice.”

“Lovely stay, very friendly helpful staff couldn’t do enough for us. Twin room no 4 small but very comfy, very nicely decorated, nice views to the left. Lovely bathroom with nice hot shower. We had an evening meal and breakfast there the food was lovely, service excellent. Plenty of parking, nothing much near by but that suited us. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. If you want to eat there at night make sure you book a table in advance, we weren’t made aware of this before hand……

“Easy parking, car park around the back of property. Clean bed linen and white fluffy towels. Tv and tea/coffee. As they no longer do food a few biscuits on the tray would be nice!! ”
