“Villa Thalassa was absolutely perfect for our needs. The villa itself is welcoming and clean with a wonderful garden with lovely shady areas to sit, lie down, eat breakfast etc. Best of all, it is right on the beach which genuinely IS deserted, even in July! It meant everyone was happy! Those who just need to be snorkelling/cooling in the sea, then want to lie out either in the sun or shade, as well as the teenagers who need to escape to a bit of air-conditioning and a social media fix! “This place has aged well since the photos were taken. Now there are beautiful fruit trees around the pool it feels immersed in nature.We gorged on grapes from the vines and used lemons on our salads. The plums were good too.The pool itself needs a little tlc as a few tiles have come off... im sure its on his todo list.The sofa is now a comfy leather one, not the hard wooden one in photo. And there are sun beds around the pool. Its all super comfy! Traditional styling, with modern needs.I asked……

“La maison est superbe, parfaitement entretenue et équipée. On peut admirer les levers de soleil sur la mer de son lit c'est merveilleux. Près de superbes plages et située dans un endroit tranquille de l'île, elle est préservée du tourisme de masse. Le petit village de Gennadi à côté a tout ce qu'il faut mais il fat une voiture. Cerise sur le gâteau : l'accueil des propriétaires au petit soin. Le seul petit bémol : on attend un peu les voitures qui passent la nuit et le chauffage de la piscine……

“Ein toller herzlicher Empfang, bereits bei der Anreise. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Der Vermieter ist absolut perfekt, immer zur Stelle wenn man ihn braucht, wenn zum Beispiel das Feuer zum Grill anzünden fehlt. Auch fragt er ob alles in Ordnung ist , ob man etwas benötigt. Und gleich zu Beginn, gab es selbst gemachtes Olivinöl und den Rhodos typischen Sumo, ein Alkoholhaltiges Getränk. Unseren Damen waren die Matratzen etwas zu hart. Der Pool war perfekt für das schnelle Bad zwischendurch und ……

“We rented this house for six weeks and had friends and family to stay at different times, ages from 2 to 60. It was suitable for everyone without over crowding. I would recommend renting this home to anyone. Katholiki, the manager was exceptional with her care, advice and recommendations. There is a very efficient cleaning service weekly. The pool is warm and is maintained on a bi weekly basis. You will need transport, and because the property is in the fields expect some wildlife. Its a great……
