“First impression stylish property and friendly staff, quiet location, but not really in the league of boutique hotels which have luxury linens and towels, toiletries etc. A few niggles - agree with previous reviewer about the shower, very small (I’m very petite) and kept knocking into the tap, shower curtain is too short to function effectively. “The hotel was modern, clean and tidy. The room was small but suitable for a 1 night stay. Staff on reception during check-in were not very friendly and charged me for the room, even though I had paid by using my saved vouchers. This was rectified later in the day by the manager. There was no secure place to leave luggage and we were told that we could just put our bags outside the gym. Not ideal and didn't want to leave our belongings in such a public area. “The property has 2 buildings, one closer to the village centre and another one with direct access to the beach. We were lucky to be by the Gaia beach just opposite ours, which has a nicer swimming pool and a bar/restaurant, which is very good and part of the hotel management. The main restaurant is in the building close to the village centre and they do offer a very brief transfer between the two with an electric car at breakfast and dinner time.
