“This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions.……

“The property was quiet and peaceful. A muddy water spa bath is hard to pass off as full of soothing minerals. Furniture was past its best and water pressure nonexistant. I would give it a 5 out of 10”

“This home is absolutely gorgeous and so so comfortable (and very clean as well!). Highlights were:- Spacious covered outdoor deck with awesome daybed and outdoor eating for 4- well equipped kitchen for 6 with local tea leaves, coffee beans and all the herbs / spices you need- beautiful local artwork painted by the owners daughter- kangaroos and magpies / lorrikerts coming to visit each morning and evening”

“The cottage was well separated from the other cottages. The amenities were well appointed with cooking utensils, pots, pans and washing up liquid and drying towels. Everything required was there. There was a good selection of DVDs. The cottages were located amongst the trees on top of a hill overlooking the town of Balingup. a very picturesque setting.”
