“For a budget travel, this is a good option. Location near around the old town area, easy to go by foot. Hotel looks new and keep in good condition, however the overall design is quite strange, such as reception at 20/F, Clothes closet indide the toilet, Soap dispenser placed next to electrical socket. Hotel staff is normal, good but not outstanding. Breakfast is ok, taste not match to me. Overall, its worth to stay with the price. ”

“Nice location - All famous restaurants are in walking distance. However, the room , especially the bedroom, was having moldy smell, even we turned the aircon on. The smell should come from the pillows or the mattress.”

“Overall very good experience in the hotel as staff was friendly and check in was smooth and fast. The hotel is also at a very convenient location, walkable to centre of Georgetown and restaurants. Bed was comfortable but wish there was thin and thick pillows to choose from. Shower head was leaking and bathroom door cannot be closed initially during our stay. Housekeeping did not replace hand towels on 2nd day and 3rd day. ”

Understanding the house is a vintage property, the structure condition may not as good as the new built, however some of the hardware facilities were slightly disappointed. Like the bathing robe, and bed sheets. In general it was a present stay and definitely will revisit Penang. ”
