“We are in love with Miner's Cabin! At first, it was a little disorienting for us because it was a new area of Placerville that we hadn't experienced. However, it just took about 2 seconds and we fell head over heels. The property is meticulous and the hosts are accommodating yet allow you all the space you need to feel like you're home. The horses and the chickens, are great, but the special little sitting areas and the water lily pond felt like heaven. We can't wait to go back.”

When we’re first pulled in there are so many lovely animals, including a very friendly dog.I was here for a race and was able to have my family come stay as well. “Great spot for a couple with an outdoor deck facing the lake. We enjoyed propane fire on the deck and listening to the wildlife in the evenings. Lots of good restaurants and shopping within 10 miles. Suggest going to Historic Folsom, which is about a 10 minute drive.”
