“We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.”

“We had an amazing time. The house was beautiful. So grateful for all the (sleep) space making us able to have a group of friends join us for a concert in the area. The little touches were the icing on the cake, a s’mores platter left for us, extra coffee pods, make up wipes, etc.. Best VRBO yet! Already talking about doing it again. ”

“Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful. Caution for mobility-challenged: ascending slope to house is steep, and stairs on the lower section don't have handrails.Overall, a great option in the area and would rent again!”

“Truly one of a kind gem, set in a beautiful location. The house has all of the modern conveniences but has been maintained with care for the historic detail. ”

“First off, it was over 800 with all the added little feed. We went there to be by the lake. Brought my daughter and her new dog. I texted them before I got there, asking about the lake. No response. When I got there I see why they ignored my text. They're draining the lake for the summer. There was no beach. Just all rock and it wasn't safe to jump in where we were because the water was so low. If you have a boat, this place is good for you.I liked the pool area. But there's caution tape……
