“This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. “What a special place the owners have created! We were a crowd of 11 for four nights and this property was perfect. Even in August, Deer Creek was too cold to do much more than wade up to our knees, but no matter -Nevada City and California's wild rivers provided us with all that we came to enjoy.Surrounded by pine trees, the big house is exactly as pictured. “Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! Otherwise, 10/10 excellent and would totally come back! ”

“The cabin was perfectly located for our weekend snowmobiling adventure with HighLine Adventures at Kingvale. Close enough so that those who tired early could walk back to the cabin which is cozy, warm and nicely appointed. It was so nice that any time we were not on the snow, we spent back at the cabin rather than driving into Truckee. Lots of space for playing games, cooking, and telling tales. The woodstove is awesome. Andy is a remarkably thoughtful and responsive host. Great pre-check……

“Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful. Caution for mobility-challenged: ascending slope to house is steep, and stairs on the lower section don't have handrails.Overall, a great option in the area and would rent again!”
