“This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Lots of space to spread out. The owners take pride in this place and definitely pay attention to detail. The extra things that they did ahead of time to prepare for our stay made us feel so welcome. It was like finding little treasures everywhere we went. Would highly recommend! “We loved our stay! Our pup had the best time and the kids loves the rustic cabin. It was cold but we knew that going into it and were dressed accordingly. The heater kept it warm with the door shut. Our dog was very happy while we were at the Ark for the day. The host is wonderful and vet accommodating. He made sure the heater and the lights were on since we arrived in the dark. Super cute property we would love to return!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our time on the farm. It was a quick one-night stay so we didn't get to take advantage of the hiking trails. The cabin is clean and cozy, and the upgrade of the bathroom area (from porta potties to a real bathroom with a toilet and sink) was an awesome surprise. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in town. ”

“My husband and I, took our six grandchildren on vacation to experience the Ark Encounter. The property was well equipped for our stay, and the children loved everything regarding the trip. However, the cabin itself, is a very loud structure, and I had never experienced a cistern water system, which was all very interesting. The televisions failed to operate properly, with 4 remotes. “Absolutely adorable historical guesthouse. The hostess was very helpful pointing out restaurants nearby and showing off the history of the hotel. The only thing I would change is to reduce the number of "plug-ins" as the scent was a little overpowering. We unplugged the one in our room and opened the window for a while, making it more to our liking. I would definitely stay here again. ”
