“Our time in Vinton County was nothing short of fabulous. The Shea Farmhouse was lovely. Perfect size, ample amount of room for myself and 2 teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped for vacation. While we are very used to old homes, some may need to know before you go in order to have a happy stay like we did.Pros: *The property was so lovely, loads of green space for baggo/corn toss, running around, walking, bird watching, enjoying the light show of fireflies, nightly orchestral music……

“The house was just we needed for our girls weekend getaway! The beds are comfy, kitchen pretty well stocked too! We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub and of course around the fire pit at night! There is no cell service, but the manager gave us a heads up so that we could connect to the WiFi immediately to be able to get into the house! The manager was also great at communication, we had a couple issues that were quickly resolved! We would definitely stay here again!!”

The game room was loaded with many options to keep everyone entertained, not to mention the media room was great.. the chairs so comfy. “The property was beautifully decorated and accommodated our group very well. The layout was nice and the noise from other rooms went unnoticed by all. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was prompt when dealing with any issues and polite. The hot tub did have issues with the filter coming off and the skeeball game did not work but the arcade games were very fun and the entertainment sytem was great with plenty of room for everyone. Being so close the the playground……
