“Drove in from Chicago with my boyfriend, parents, and younger brother and his girlfriend for a weekend trip. The location was perfect for things we wanted to do during our stay. We were within a quick drive to Belle Isle, Whole Foods, Eastern Market, and a plethora of restaurants. The unit itself was super clean and had all the amenities we could’ve wanted. The ability to park a car in the garage was a very nice touch. Overall, it was nice staying in such a historic and wonderfully restored……

“Newly renovated was the only positive. Wasn’t upfront about the plugged toilet and tried to mask the smell by locking the door and putting bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher and Lysol. Was promised 2 bathrooms and 4 adults from different families had to use one. A charge of garbage disposal for $50 We were from a different country - where is the garbage going to go. Back to Canada 🇨🇦”

“It was great to bring our dogs with us on our visit to Detroit. The accommodations were Clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The neighbors were pleasant and the bar down the street was a nice place to have a drink. We visited Belle Isle and Gross Pointe Park. We found great restaurants that allowed dogs for outside dining. Great trip! ”

“Apparently I should have called again before arriving. The communication received from the property manager was "see you then". I thought this statement stood on its own.. Open arrival, after not finding instructions in the designated location on Vrbo, I called the manager. I was chastised repeatedly for my lack of common sense in my behavior. It simply wasn't possible to feel at least welcome during the stay. I will end this review without discussing other realities.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean! The beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. We came to watch the football game in Ann Arbor and staying in Taylor worked out perfectly for us, just about 25 mins away with lots of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend! “This loft was exactly what I needed—peaceful, spacious, and full of character. The building has that old Detroit charm with big windows, exposed brick, and the most incredible old-school elevator I’ve ever used.
