“The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica……

“This loft was exactly what I needed—peaceful, spacious, and full of character. The building has that old Detroit charm with big windows, exposed brick, and the most incredible old-school elevator I’ve ever used. It feels like something out of a film, with double doors you close by hand—loud, creaky, and full of soul. Honestly, it should be illegal to ever replace it.
