“The entire state was amazing and everything was literally perfect. However, the home had some areas where things were either broken or a little dirty in spots. Overall though, the entire place was huge! Definitely bigger than the online listing. The backyard was beautiful. The photos on the listing are also a little old because the home had a lot of updates and modifications. Like I said, though it just could’ve been cleaned a bit better and fixed in some areas so that people wouldn’t be afraid……

“We got to the house and it was a lovely house, in a great location. The garbage outside had meat and other garbage not in bags. The storm door was broken which we fixed ourselves, the floor was full of sand, the air conditioner in the kitchen didnt blow cold air and the fan in the ktchen didnt work either, the remote was nowhere to be found. I think some of our money should be refunded.”

“Our family of 7 adults Visited Long Island for a family wedding. This VRBO was equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and it was exceptionally clean with lovely decor. Owner Kerry responded very quickly to inquiries. Location was ideal for travel between family events in Islip and at the nearby Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. It was a short drive to the Stony Brook hotel where other family members were staying. Highly recommend this VRBO! ”

“Was super surprised just how nice this house was. It was tastefully decorated with many antiques and live plants which gave it a very homey feel. The whole house has been updated and the kitchen was generously furnished. The roku TV offered our favorite channels. Possibly, the only negative is it's location is in the middle of nowhere on a 2-lane dirt road. But, even that had positives. The countryside was beautiful and there was a restuarant/green house/party store just a mile down the road.……

“The house was cozy and so close to our wedding visit and my lovely hometown septic odor was horrid downstairs. No explanations of how and where things worked”

“We loved the location, but the home was loaded with spiders, most appliances did not work (dishwasher did not work, blender, toaster oven, the stove top only half worked) - plus the pots were scratched (and with Teflon not useable) The shower door was broken and would not close, the toilet paper roll holder had no dowel to hold roll, toilet seat very loose, door frames were chipped and dirty, hold in wall next the bed in room with bunkbeds, laundry closet had missing doors. ”

“The property had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We experienced no issues and look forward to staying here again in the future. The host was very prompt to respond whenever we had any questions.”

“The house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of rooms and enjoyed the layout of the home. Kitchen was large enough to prepare some breakfasts for all of the family members. It was close to our reunion picnic so location was great. We enjoyed our stay”

“Beautifully decorated and maintained home- very comfortable, great backyard and close to everything. The jacuzzi was great! The welcome bottle of wine was a very nice touch.
