“Owners were great from the start with good communication and responsive. Location was ideal for access to all that Door County offers. Its central location in the quaint town of Ephraim makes most of Door County’s destinations within easy striking distance. The loft is nicely and uniquely furnished, comfortably useable , with a nice view overlooking the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.”

“Love the quiet, relaxing woodsy setting. The next best thing to camping without the leaking tent canvas & we could still sit by the fire & listen to the birds & squirrels while roasting marshmallows. ”

“Great location, beautiful lake view, quiet, and private! Convenient home base for traveling around Door County. Host was easy to contact during our stay. Nice to have a dog friendly option with a big yard. The listing mentioned a coffee maker which was not present, showed photos of extra hand towels/washcloths which were not available, and we only had access to the kayaks for the last 24 hours of our 3-night stay. Not the end of the world, but we would have appreciated a more accurate listing so……

“We spent 3 nights here during Fall Festival. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was perfect - a short walk to a couple restaurants but not in the middle of all the Sister Bay festival traffic. Although we've been coming to Door for many years - Darla gave us some helpful advice on when to avoid the major crowds over the Festival weekend. Only thing that was a little disappointing was no fire allowed in the fireplace. I get it, it can make a mess and if guests don't……

“The cabin was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. We brought our meals and the cabin had all the supplies we needed. We forgot plastic wrap and left over containers though, that would have been nice to have. The cabin was plenty warm for October and next time we’ll use the outside fire pit! Great location and easy to get to. We loved our stay. ”

“Stayed for a long weekend as a family of 5. The cottage was cozy, but comfortable. It has everything we needed for our stay and included some cute and thoughtful touches. The cottage did, however, have a funny smell. Maybe it was musty? Not sure, but it was definitely noticeable whenever you walked in. It was also cooled with 2 AC window units in each of the bedrooms, which were effective but noisy. Overall it was still a good stay, just a few things that might make me look for a different place……

“My family, including a 7 year old and two dogs, really enjoyed our stay at North Bay Tranquility, the house is very pretty and comfortable, the beds were great and everyone slept well. It has everything you could need (full kitchen, tv and internet, beautiful yard with fire pit) and we felt right at home. Only issue was when we arrived I took the cover off the gas grill to check it out and it promptly collapsed. Notified management right away, but no one fixed or replaced it, just stuck it……

“We were checking out Plays at different theaters in the area and needed a place that could be our base for meals and relaxing. This cabin is just as described and really had everything we needed! Loved the ease of access too!”

“We did a vacation with my family, first time not camping in Door County. We had 10 adults, this house accomadated us great. The location was perfect for us as we really utilize the state park. The back yard was very private and provided lots of space for us to play yard games, the woods next to the property is state park land, my husband was very much enjoying looking for morel mushrooms and ramps. He found a few morels and many ramps. There were a few issues with things like the refrigerator……
