“Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails.”

“We stayed here with the family for my dads 60th birthday, there was 10 adults and 4 children and everyone had the most amazing time. The property is beautiful and located in the common that provides wildlife and stunning views. The host Catherine was really helpful and the communication was great! The neighbours Anne and John and their son recommended a stunning walk to watch the sunset and even let us into their home to see the local badger out of the window. This was honestly the best UK……

“Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……

“This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours. Lots to do in the area and good food to be had in local pubs. The property is always comfortable and spotlessly clean. We love that the property is surrounded by the big meadows even if the grasses and dandelions were……

“Ideal setting surrounded by wonderful views of the mountains with nature on your doorstep. Beautiful walks locally, especially the canal walk from your front door. Holly cottage has all you’ll need for either an active walking and sightseeing holiday or somewhere peaceful to relax, take in your surroundings and enjoy a very special part of the Brecon Beacons. Highly recommended.”

“Fantastic property which has everything we needed, warm and cosy but with an all modern interior Fantastic views,we saw plenty of the wildlife ,sheep with their lamb's also birds of prey hoovering just in front of the window, bats at night, and the occasional military jet or plane buzz past. Friendly owners who are on hand but don't invade on privacy. we really enjoyed our stay while visiting the area ,we will definitely recommend and stay again. ”

“First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property. There was also a small car……
