“Lovely clean modern room. Lots of clean fresh towels. Nice thick carpets and so no disturbance from below room. Large shower area with good water pressure. Sadly it had no shelf to put shampoo and shower gel whilst in there. Lovely white cotton bedding. The only minus with the room was that it was very warm, i know its i Wales and not noted for warm weather. A fan in the room would be a good addition just in case any more warm days bless Newport. Breakfast was plentiful and the ladies……

“Room was large and beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a nice meal for dinner. Breakfast was included and I had the best scrambled eggs ever. Portions are large and were offered fresh fruit and cereal as well. It was a little cool but in nice weather they have nice outdoor dining and drink area. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff.”

“Staff are wonderful - very friendly, attentive, and professional. I've seen lots of other reviews saying the same. Room was very pleasant, clean, and spacious. Just looks a little dated, as does the whole building. Breakfast was a good experience, with plenty of options in the continental buffet (cereals, fruit, pastries etc.) and decent cooked food. Overall a little expensive for what it is, but perfect for night's stay while working nearby. Staff were great, room and breakfast were also……

“This owner should be ashamed. We booked as it had free parking. The owner text in advance to share our number plate so he could register, which we did. We then also did it in person with him on arrival. We have then had 4 months of charges, months of letters and calls from a debt recovery company and told we would be sent to court if we didn’t pay the £170. He told me he cancelled it 2 months ago, but is refusing to take any calls, won’t reply to any texts and we’ve been forced to spend £170 on……
