“Stayed here before Staff very helpful good value for money However on our arrival we were told Restaurant booked out The restaurant was only 1/2 full ( lack of Kitchen staff was the problem) We ( 6 persons) bar food in the bar looking at the 1/2 full Restaurant eating away. 5 of us got feed they forget one of us and food never arrived ( i could go on)”

“It is picturesque location, as i stayed for the businesses purpose i didn't use any facilities so cannot say anything else. Not as clean as it should, some spoons with an old coffee marks on it. Room was cosy, smells ok, i would say the whole place is a bit old, but place not smells old at all, seems staff trying to keep up to the their best there. Hot water, normal size bath, warm inside the room, nice soap, really fast wifi. Very squeaky floors as it is old. The only things upset is the……

“Beautiful building very clean and cosy. Check in was stress free and the guys who checked us in were friendly and efficient. The only down side was that service was a little slow in the evening in the restaurant. We had to ask for dessert menu and bill.”

“Went to watch the Rugby with my son - great venue to meet up at and then easy to park up and grab a taxi into Cardiff - staff all very helpful and whilst Wales lost to Ireland the weekend was fabulous and the stay was excellent, the cooked breakfast the next morning before our drives home was especially welcome . ”

“An absolute pleasure to drive up to such an impressive, wonderful property steeped in History! Nick was absolutely lovely and super-helpful. Also great to have an apartment to myself with all amenities. Will definitely stay again and be Lady of the Manor for a night! The Orangery is stunning. “The cellar may not be for everyone but I loved it. Spacious, quiet, well equipped with additional kitchen extras, comfortable, good wifi, own parking space and a friendly and knowledgeable host Nick. It was cool when I arrived but soon warmed up. The area is good for hiking and the Clifton Suspension Bridge is just a 30 mins walk. Also has a good pub nearby along with a bus stop to get into Bristol.”
