“Stayed for a wedding, was beautiful venue and room was perfect. Loved the bed soze and black out curtains. Bar staff were very friendly. Would love to come again.”

“Lovely clean modern room. Lots of clean fresh towels. Nice thick carpets and so no disturbance from below room. Large shower area with good water pressure. Sadly it had no shelf to put shampoo and shower gel whilst in there. Lovely white cotton bedding. The only minus with the room was that it was very warm, i know its i Wales and not noted for warm weather. A fan in the room would be a good addition just in case any more warm days bless Newport. Breakfast was plentiful and the ladies……

“We stayed for one night and played golf the following day. The hotel is very grand. Lovely rooms and very comfy bed. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t great. Lots of choice but the cooked breakfast was like warm. Hard fried eggs and the bacon was rock solid. ”

“We spent 4 nights at the Kings Head and it was a perfect place to stay. The newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and very roomy, and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the local sausages. Stepping into the bar was like going through a time portal into the 1600's: there was a cozy fire burning, low beamed ceilings, and pewter tankards hanging from hooks. The fresh local fish on the daily special's menu was superb. But best of all was the attentive, friendly service from……
