“I arrived quite late and went into the pub downstairs to ask how to access the hotel. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and walked me round to the entrance and explained everything to me thoroughly, despite the fact it was horrible weather outside. I was on the top floor and the room was extremely clean, with a roll top bath and extremely comfortable bed. I loved the fact they even have Oatly milk with the tea tray, something most expensive hotels don't have, nevermind a room……

“入住是問他拿取牙刷牙膏，他笑容滿面地答Certainly, 還好我晚上自己又去買，回到房間他答我out of stock. 房間的電話是不能用的，壞掉了，跟他說了也不位我更換。另外洗衣服送回給我時竟然問我啦信用卡號碼，我說我不舒服，費用掛在房間上我走的時候會結，他答如果我不立即給他，就要立即來收回我的衣服，這是什麼服務，2022年的酒店也會這樣子。房間有多不清潔的毛巾，給我新的但是不拿走舊的，任由一堆毛巾放在廁所的一角”

“Amazing as ever!”

“The property was a calm, inviting base with fantastic spa facilities and mouth watering menus, even on my first night when the restaurant wasn’t open but ate in the comfortable bar area. My bedroom was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need in a bedroom/ensuite. ”

“This hotel is amazing. Really modern comfortable room, excellent beds and facilities. So convenient for Newport town centre, train, bus, car park, shops and restaurants. Staff are really friendly and helpful.”

“Loved the hotel. The room was very nice and big, and even though we didn’t have a dog, it was really nice to see that dogs were welcome. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again”

“All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy. If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as……

“Broke the journey to Cornwall staying here…very pleased with quality of food and excellent breakfast service. Would really recommend booking for food as every table in the evening reserved which is a great sign of the of the high standard of cooking. Room very good, clean and overall a great stop off”
