“I booked a single room which was ok. A little tired but obviously, the main rooms with a view possibly being sorted first. The other rooms left early in the morning and left the doors slam which kept me awake from the early hours. Door fixings need to b more gentle when they close. I did ring down to reception but failed to get an answer as I was having trouble with the tv remote. Unable to get the volume increased. I’m sure, in time, all the rooms will b renovated.”

“I got there at night and parked in the Roman Road car park. There wasn’t much signposting or lighting (or I didn’t see it!) so walking to the hotel felt a little tricky as I ended up walking on the road. Thankfully it wasn’t far. There was a bit of a long queue at check in, but that was understandable as lots of us from the conference were arriving at the same time. “Last minute booking and was very lucky to have a lakeside view double room which I must say the view. Checked in and was welcomed by two lovely young ladies on the desk who were amazing! Rooms are lovely, smart tv’s and perfect space. We were having issues with the TV and WiFi connection, immediately sorted by the manager who kindly changed our room to solve this issue. So grateful and was an amazing stay! We will definitely be back, so relaxing and a lovely walk around the lake. Online pictures……

“Easy to self-check in, perfect location, and lovely, clean rooms. The views are wonderful no matter where you're situated in the hotel. I've stayed here many times and will be back for many more. My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place. ”
