Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. “A very well appointed inn, scenically based on the edge of the haven, run by a charming family of four who could not be more friendly or helpful. The breakfast is superb and the evening menu varied. All meals are cooked to order and prepared to a high standard. In short, a splendid place to stay within reach of numerous local attractions. We intend to return.”

“Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side……

Bed was SO comfy. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was incredible and the views in the outdoor seating were gorgeous. ”

“It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. “Wonderful host who gave an extremely warm welcome. We needed a night away after a stressful week and Gerogie was so considerate and warm and couldnt do enough to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Tea and coffee available, use of kitchen facilities, lovely hot tub, communal but good fun to get to know other guests. Food is abiut a 10-15 minute drive away, can recommend Poons Street food ”
