As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog.
Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. We can confirm that the website comment regarding food: "Our chef Darren cooks &……
“Nice hotel in Llanwrytd Wells. We stayed here for one night for a wedding. The staff were great and service fantastic. The hotel is quirky in terms of decor but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Free parking is always a bonus as was the nice breakfast. The in-house brewery was a nice addition and the beer was great. Would definitely recommend!”
“Self check in worked well. Large room with side sea view. Comfy bed and clean room.
Good breakfast which was the first time we saw anyone from the b&b. Ideally situated for sea and not too far from the town. Would stay there again.”
“The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……

“Excellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable.
Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, £7 for a day.

“D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility……
