“A beautiful, quiet guesthouse, very nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Received a very warm welcome and a breakfast menu for the following morning, on arrival. Made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was 5* and was enjoyed in a quiet and comfortable dining room with mountain views, an excellent start to the day. Will be sure to visit again and will be recommending to others in future. Thank you very much.”

“When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. Had to move the kettle to boil it though as it didn’t reach the plug. Bathroom could do with some TLC. Just looks a bit grimy. One of the……

“We needed a place to stay while visiting family and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place or more welcoming hosts! Comfortable and warm beds in a beautiful place (we stayed in the stable cottage) with everything thought of - we had tea and home made flapjack waiting for us in the room and more breakfast than we really needed but it was so delicious! “The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. “Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. ”
