“It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie.……

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Merlot cottage. First, we appreciated that there's a gated entrance to the cottages. It made for a peaceful stay with no through traffic.We enjoyed having both an indoor and outdoor table to choose from when having snacks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. Randy & Kim are amazingly gracious hosts. They even provided some food items for our use. Next time we visit NC, I hope we can stay again.
