“Beautiful scenery and cozy accommodations”

“We really were so happy with our choice to stay here. This cottage is adorable, clean, and cozy. It had all the kitchen items we needed/wanted. The bed was comfortable for us (and we are picky!) It's such an easy walk to downtown, even in the snow! We enjoyed the hot tub as the snow fell and the wind howled on Friday afternoon (the tub temp was perfect!) Yes, there is a house right next door, but with the tall privacy fence, it was not a big deal to us at all...even when we were in the hot……

“It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie.……

“We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek.”

“We live on the NC coast and getting to go to the Mtns is a real treat and this home did not disappoint. From its central location to The Jefferson's and Boone to its open floor plan and wood burning stove. We thoroughly enjoyed it!”

“Very quiet and peaceful. No one bothers you unless you need something. The host Bob checks on you the first night and then asks about your stay at the end and wishes you farewell and safe travels. Very lovely man. Would stay again ”
