“Beautiful BRAND NEW lil cabin. Smelling fresh outdoors as good as it smells fresh and inviting inside. Definitely enough room for 2 adults and a couple or few kids. Not far from things, but definitely not a place to just run out for milk or butter, so get everything you need on your grocery trip. There is 100% privacy from anyone and the world back in the woods... with the cutest back yard and the deere grazing unbothered while you sip your coffee. It was PEACE.”

“This place worked perfectly for a friend meetup near Wintergeen! Near Bold Rock cidery and three notch'd brewery, and we stopped at Bear Creamery for an ice cream flight! Laurie responds quickly, we found the house just as described. Comfortable and very clean, in a nice residential neighborhood. We appreciated the screened in porch and the A/C during the day. Highly recommend this getaway! ”

“Everything was as described in listing. Beautiful property both inside and out. My family & I enjoyed the stay. Water was a little cool for us in September but our pup thoroughly enjoyed the river as well. The sound of the running water is very peaceful. The only suggestion I would make is adding a television in the master suite (personal preference) and add a few more towels & wash cloths. Great home. I highly recommend.”

“This home is absolutely stunning. We felt as though we stepped in a modern design magazine shoot. The marriage of color, texture, and style perfectly complements the natural surroundings while maintaining a chic, contemporary vibe. The property is breathtaking, with a firepit, sprawling lawn, flowing creek, and fruit and nut trees.We loved being close to hiking in the George Washington and Thomas Jefferson National Forests, plus nearby wineries and breweries. In the evenings we enjoyed board……

“We had a wonderful weekend visiting our son for his birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful! Loved all the original wood floors and the quaint front porch. Although we didn’t use them, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. I especially appreciated that an appropriate amount of towels and washcloths were provided. So many other places we have stayed have literally provided one washcloth and towel for a stay of several nights. Very grateful that you all provided for our needs! Will……

“I came into town for the Tyler Childers concert and this was the perfect spot for me and my dog! Quiet, secluded, beautiful scenery — but close enough to town if you need anything. An easy drive to C’ville and surrounding areas. It didn’t disappoint!”

“Beautiful, comfortable, clean, peaceful... Sarah is a perfect host, responsive but never intrusive. The cabin is just as described and the generosity of its provisioning is above and beyond other places. We took food for breakfast and dinner which allowed us to savor that porch morning and evening. The walking trails are great. The privacy is total. Perfect for people like us who love the Blue Ridge mountains and look for such seclusion but need (in our 70's) comfort too.”
