“Our family traveled to CT with our dogs for a soccer event in Farmington. This was the perfect spot for us. Plenty of fenced in yard for our dogs, and just the right amount of space inside for us and our two kids. Kitchen had most of the basics. Just missing (or we couldn’t locate) a cookie sheet and scissors but had all the other utensils we needed. House was nicely updated. Took the dogs on a walk through the surrounding neighborhood which felt safe. Within 12 minutes of the fields and……

“Gilbert and Mary were wonderful hosts. The house was immaculate and organized. They left snacks and drinks for us upon our arrival to the property which was very much appreciated by kids and adults alike. The house is in a great location; we were close to all the shops and restaurants! The baby loved roaming the fenced in backyard while our 11 year old loved having his own room upstairs to play his video games! ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! It is newly renovated and beautifully furnished. Our young children loved finding all of the “silly” frogs featured throughout the home, and we loved the historic maps of the area. The owners really thought of everything when stocking the kitchen, and added touches throughout to make your stay more comfortable. “Great Stay at the Olde Tobacco Barn. Was here for a work trip, and the place was perfect for our needs. House is set back really nicely and private. Host was super responsive and easy to deal with. Overall 5/5 stay. Thank you!”
