“Good sized bedrooms w/ good mattresses, 5 minute walk to ferry; row of restaurants 3 blocks away but kitchen trash can was full, floors were dirty. No curtain on best room facing main street, bathroom smells,closets and shelves are mostly full, kitchen has no stove or hot plate.”

The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. “This clean neat and comfortable space provided a place to sleep but not much room to relax except on the bed. The tiny kitchen area allowed us to cook some meals. The shower was large enough to accommodate my tall husband. The air conditioner is noisy and has the duct going up the outside wall on the room. Not having a window was a bit of an adjustment. It was a place to rest our heads. ”
