“The house is as advertised on the listing, having ample beds, rooms, and space for big groups to get together and have a great time. We were a group of 12 friends and stayed in January when it was between 0-20 degrees out & snow on the ground, but that was not a negative at all. The property is well maintained, and is stocked with all the necessities (including a diner style coffee maker) that a group would need for their stay. “Our family stayed in this nice home during a very cold week in Fort Plain (-3 outside). The house looked to be recently remodeled, was very clean, and had very modern amenities and appliances. The furnace/radiator struggled to keep the first floor warm without space heaters, but the upstairs sleeping quarters were very comfortable with the heating system running and the space heaters provided by the host. “Overall was good and we enjoyed our family visit. We were disappointed with lake levels at this time of year so lake could not be accessed from the property. Recommend checking USGS lake data before traveling with any watercraft. House was nice. Knotty pine paneling and ceiling were a great look Kitchen area was fairly well equipped. “What a wonderful getaway. Michael's home is warm, cozy and each room has a wonderful view of Galway Lake. We loved early morning kayaking and just floating in the lake. Hanging on the porches, bbqing and just relaxing! The kitchen is filled with everything you need to cook a great meal and you are close to a lot of great restaurants if you have a hankering to leave the property! Michael is easily reachable and made the stay perfect! Look forward to a longer stay next summer! ”

“We loved this house and felt right at home. The property manager was super welcoming and very accommodating. Just a short walk across the yard to a beautiful lake made this a perfect place for us and our kids ages 3,10 and 13. We brought our canoe for fishing and did so each morning of our 6 night stay.
