“We were a group of 4 families (14 people) staying at the cabin, and overall enjoyed our stay- but wanted to give a heads up about a few things:While the ad offers room for up to 18 guests, 2 of the 14 people had to sleep on the floor as there weren’t enough beds for 14 (let alone 18). “The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more! The grill worked well too. The view of the lake was wonderful, and having the kayaks a bonus. It would be nice to have a shore access to the lake, but the spot at Sunset Lake is very close by. Everyone was happy to swim at both places. “I've been spending our annual "family" week throughout the Adirondack Park every year for the past decade. This particularly stay was enhanced by a well organized and efficiently designed cabin with extremely comfortable accommodations.The modern bathrooms (3 full and a 4th half bathroom) were a plus for our family of 8. The exterior recreation area was no exception, with kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, picnic table and seating all in a close-knit outdoor area with multiple levels. Beautiful……

“This place is spectacular! The views of the lake are better than the photos and change throughout the day with changing conditions. We saw a bald eagle fly by twice!! The house is small but very cozy with a comfy living room and lovely gas fireplace. It has a great sunroom overlooking the lake, nice little yard with picnic table and a dock. The kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely like to come back. Just a note.. bring drinking water as the tap water is not okay to drink but was……

“Everything was perfect. We had a great time exploring Paradox Lake with the kayaks and making s’mores over the fire pit. The Pharoah Mountain trails were also super easy to get to. Everything was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware. We would love to come again”

The amenities were plentiful and we had everything we needed! One disadvantage is the distance from Lake George and the water. “Very quiet and away from it all. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It was summer and the upstairs was a bit warm but the A/C works well. We would stay again.”
